Carolyn's exhibit, OUT OF AFRICA, was on display May thru June 2012 at the Printmakers Inc Gallery. After a safari trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe in August 2010, she was inspired to preserve her memories of special happenings on that trip. Each of the 14 linocuts recalled a unique experience of the trip. The gallery is in the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA. The exhibit returned to Alexandria, VA for a closing exhibition in conjunction with the 35th anniversary of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. |

Carolyn's encaustic Only For You, was selected for the Target Gallery's national juried show titled 5"x 5" (5 by 5). All pieces were limited 5 inches in height, width and depth. 226 pieces were selected from over 600 entries submitted by artists from across the US and 3 international artists. The exhibit ran through January 11, 2009, in the Target Gallery located in the Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA. |
